Formerly an old hotel, the site is an 11-minute walk from Coventry University, making it ideal for a PBSA. Once we acquired the site, we took on the challenge of securing planning consent to convert the hotel into a 120-bed student accommodation.
The Sama team oversaw the development of the scheme from planning permission to completion, and continued to manage the PBSA after it was built. Once the scheme had stabilised and optimum occupancy had been realised, we sold our shares in the asset.
